We don’t take advantage of young people, we help them. Our Brand is helping young recording artists and entertainers get exposure by getting their Music played on the radio and with earning opportunities." - Thomas Lowman

In the previous years, a local artist was honored for the work and dedication they have put into recording their new releases. Detroit Hot Radio is part of a chart ranking system that determined the radio play, and online streaming in the United States and the U.K. which determines the ranking of a top ten song list.

This year's annual music awards will honor those nominated by the choice of our active listening audience. They will be able to submit an artist of their choice and those with the most nomination will move on to the voting process provided the top five of each category. For this year's awards, we will not only honor those recording artists but also those who have endlessly contributed to the entertainment industry with a lifetime achievement award which was earned by their achievements in the entertainment industry.
