The 16th Annual Detroit Black Music Awards Is On It's Way This Weekend


The Detroit Black Music Awards (DBMA) will be celebrating its 16th annual event at Bert's Warehouse in the Eastern Market on Sunday, August 4, 2024. The DBMA's is an esteemed event that recognizes the contributions of Detroit's Black artists in the music industry. The event will be held at Bert's Warehouse, a venue known for its rich cultural history in Detroit. The founder of the DBMA's, Misty Love, is a respected figure in the music industry, and her event will showcase a diverse range of talent from the Detroit area and beyond.

The ceremony will be hosted by Florida State Representative Dianne Hart and Michael 'Sandman' Sandelin, who will bring their unique energy and charisma to the stage.
